Albalá Ingenieros offers a wide range of products for processing of compressed and uncompressed audio and video, designed to satisfy the needs of radio and television signal producers and operators. Our equipment is grouped into product lines according to their fields of use.
All of our equipment, regardless of the product line has been designed using the same technology and manufactured according to the same high quality standards. This allows our customers to simply choose the product line that best fits their needs for each application.
The circuit design and component selection in our manufacturing is held to our customer's stringent demands for reliability and long service life when they invest in our equipment.
Energy consumption in our products has been reduced to a minimum, producing an exponential increase in reliability and service life owing to reduced operating temperatures. Of equal importance are the savings realized in electric utility bills both direct and indirect (by way of reduced need for air conditioning) as well as savings of our natural resources.

TL3000
This is a family of modular equipment that can be installed in a mounting frame to accomplish a diverse set of tasks. Several different mounting frame models are available in order to best adapt to the available space. The UR3000 is a 3 RU 19” mounting frame that can house up to 12 modules and two redundant power supplies, whereas the UR3100, occupying 1 RU, can house up to three modules along with the two redundant power supplies.
The most important aspect of this family is its design based upon two independent, pluggable PCBs – one purely passive board used for the connections and one active board where the signal processing takes place. This design eases maintenance by making it simple and easy to replace the active processing section without disturbing the cabling.
The design of this family includes special attention paid to the physical dimensions of each device, providing the maximum number of connectors per rack unit height in order to reduce the total footprint of the installation.
For maximum reliability each module includes fuses for its power supply so that an accidental overload in one module cannot cause problems for any other modules installed the mounting frame.

TL2000
This is a family of modular equipment that can be installed in a mounting frame to accomplish a diverse set of tasks. The family includes a two RU 19” mounting frame, the UR2000, that can house up to 19 modules along with a single power supply or up to 17 modules with two redundant power supplies.
The most important characteristics of this family are the small footprint and its versatility. Thanks to the reduced dimensions and the front-mounted connectors UR2000 mounting frames can be installed in complementary fashion along with other devices in equipment rooms. This reduces the installation complexity and improves reliability by isolating the various functional zones.
This product line adds a new dimension to the concept of modularity thanks to the connectivity between slots provided by the rear communications bus of the mounting frame. With this bus modules can be combined in limitless fashion as per the user's needs.

CrossConnect
Our CROSSCONNECT product line consists of equipment designed to operate autonomously without being installed in a mounting frame. These devices are perfect for cramped spaces, for quick resolution of problems or for temporary installations.

Control
The control equipment family is comprised of a group of control panels containing keys for checking and controlling the status of equipment in the TL2000 and TL3000 product lines.
The equipment in this family has been designed for use in master control rooms and consists of a large number of keys that can be backlit and feature programmable functionality.
These products also feature GPIO inputs and outputs that allow automated control of line terminal equipment without ever losing manual control.

Others
Software
Albalá Ingenieros' products have been designed to function without supervision, performing their duties reliably and without the attention of an operator. However, as with nearly all telecommunications infrastructure equipment, the products must be configured upon installation and review of the information that the equipment provides about the signals being processed for supervision purposes is recommended. Such configuration and supervision in normally performed using computers over an Ethernet LAN and control software.
There are several methods for controlling and supervising Albalá Ingenieros equipment that depend upon the various applications where the equipment is installed.
Small installations usually require little maintenance and typically use simple methods to perform the initial configuration and occasional supervision. For such applications Albalá Ingenieros' control modules include a web server that the user can access from a browser.
Mid-size and larger installations often have operators that monitor problems that may occur and usually have computers from which they can quickly access and reconfigure the installed equipment. For such personnel Albalá Ingenieros has developed control software, known as Annette, with which all the equipment installed in a given installation can be managed, including the assignment of names and groups to each device for easy identification.
Finally, in the largest installations computers using management programs based on the SNMP protocol are typically used. These programs integrate remote control and remote supervision of equipment from various manufacturers into one application. Control modules from Albalá Ingenieros include the SNMP agent required to operate with these management programs. To facilitate the integration of their equipment into such systems, Albalá Ingenieros provides a file, MIB (Management Information Base), that describes how the parameters of each product can be accessed.
